About Tina
Tina picked up the guitar at the age of twelve, growing up in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. Over the years, she has enjoyed writing and arranging original songs, playing covers, and performing with talented musical collaborators.
Tina is one-half of the acoustic guitar duo Vaguely Familiar, performing creatively arranged, atmospheric stylings of a variety of songs. She has also appeared in coffeehouses and bookstores, has served as a guitarist for a church, as well as standing in with some area bands for gigs on the local music scene. She is a veteran of countless jam sessions, and enjoys entertaining family and friends at parties.
She has taught private guitar lessons since 2009, and particularly enjoys helping her students develop their skills and their love of music.
